ChimeraShe was not beautiful, though she once had been. Her face was scarred and discolored from a life of explosive and temperamental work. Razor thin lines etched her skin and burned onto her was a look of perpetual and unattainable expectation. Rusty brown hair escaped in short locks from beneath a kerchief that had apparently lost a few battles with fire. A leather eye-patch covered her right eye, but the remaining milky green eye was intently focused on the Gaia veins.
Blackened and seemingly withered fingers moved with surprisingly delicacy through the barely visible veins of the spell. And the spell was huge, so large that the Gaia energy accumulated was becoming visible to the civilian eye. Pulsating, branching and living veins of energy: raw, real magic.
